BOR-4S Wallpaper - Re-entry posted by Sidhe Priest in Pyromania October 30, 2006, 11:04:50 AM 731
BOR-4S, a real orbital interceptor prototype. Designed in the USSR in the 1970s. It was meant to shoot down satellites. Each sortie would last 2 hours, with shuttle-style atmospheric re-entry. It would carry 6-10 missiles in the weapons bay.

The final Su-35 standard has done without canards, thanks to FCS and engine thrust vectoring improvements.

Here it is taking off from the company's Siberian factory runway. Beautiful, isn't she?

14 Outerlimits (BRIEFING Playstation Redbook Version) posted by Alieo in Descent for Playstation June 04, 2012, 01:55:18 PM 185
"Outerlimits" by Allister Brimble
BRIEFING Playstation Redbook Version

Used in: "Level Complete/Mine Destroyed" screen.

Notes: This was NOT used as background music for briefing screens. Briefings were read by the same computer voice that famously notifies you when "self destruct sequence activated" has been initiated upon destruction of the mine's reactor. When you exit the mine, a cinematic cutscene plays, and after that, when the screen pops up that says, for example, "Level 1 Complete - Lunar Outpost Destroyed," this music plays. The song does give me the visualization of a mine in shambles.

Level 2
I decided to try making a full-length song in FL Studio using only the pattern sequencer and playlist stuff... i.e. without my keyboard.  Digital Worlds was the result.  I think it turned out very nicely, especially considering this was my first try at "writing" music instead of simply performing it.
It was made with the intention of being split up into regions and used in WillyP's IceFactor level (I know what parts will go where and there's even a death theme at the end), but there's no word back from WillyP yet.

Sonika ooh-ing through the vocal part of the "Wizard" MIDI file.

"He was the wizard of a thousand kings/
And I chanced to meet him one night wondering..."

Etc.
