I'd like to make a new variation of each world (a Quartzon mix, Brimspark, Limefrost spiral) for each of the 4 songs, but I've been very busy lately. Got my CDL 3 years ago and drive trucks now, got engaged two years ago, and lost my father last year. Lots of changes. I simply don't have time to devote to Descent related stuff lately. I still pop Descent music on every now and then, of course. Y'all be good! Hopefully I get the D2 files done before 2030?

A possible contribution to the Miner Wars soundtrack. If possible, I'd like peoples' opinions on whether it's good, and whether it sounds cinematic. It makes me think of a lava world (or partially molten asteroid).

Title: FireFlash Correlated Song: Glut Correlated Levels: Transmode Containment 2112, Metacave Weapons Research, Fold Zandura Project: Solarian Description: Plays up the spooky aspect of Glut... in fact it plays that up to the extreme. So extreme, that it feels like a cross between Glut and the Eggmanland music from Sonic Unleashed. This is the theme of Fireclaw Smelting and Manufacturing in Maximum Vertigo. Fireclaw is in reality a front for the Mad Scientists' League of Kith. This song plays during the events that ultimately lead to the demise of Fireclaw and all its members. This is actually a double correlation -- it also correlates with 'Overdrive' from the D1 MAC OST.

Title: Trickster Correlated Song: Glut Correlated Levels: Ahayweh Gate, Coalbank Shaft, Nneri Ring Project: G'Blanix OST Description: One thing that irked me about Glut was how, at the beginning of D2, you have these awesome movies with an amazing cinematic soundtrack, you jump into the first level expecting some equally amazing music and what you get is... Glut. Yeah. So this song attempts to combine the essence of Glut with that cinematic feel of the movie music in D2, for something that maybe wouldn't have been so underwhelming if it had been the first song to come after those movies. My secondary goal with this song was to evoke the European Dark Ages, China, and a weasel, all at the same time.
