I'd like to make a new variation of each world (a Quartzon mix, Brimspark, Limefrost spiral) for each of the 4 songs, but I've been very busy lately. Got my CDL 3 years ago and drive trucks now, got engaged two years ago, and lost my father last year. Lots of changes. I simply don't have time to devote to Descent related stuff lately. I still pop Descent music on every now and then, of course. Y'all be good! Hopefully I get the D2 files done before 2030?

Or Tiny Dark Nation #3ase The Log Scale A tribute to the work of Lyris! In a genre and style that he never used -- Jazzy chaotic tribal hiphop! Lots of Awe32-like soundfont instruments, and more generally instrumentation very similar to the orchestral sort of instrumentation Asrale enjoyed (with the exception of the harmonica). The vocals are a parody of the culture of a "tiny dark nation". From the instrumentation and style you can probably guess what nation it symbolizes. Canadians have to be anti-american (except for those Americans who get the status of honorary Canadian), it's part of our national identity, but it's all in good fun, and you knew that anyway. I wanted to have some more good fun with it. A song that basically tells you why I'm glad not to be American.

Another D1 song I'd wanted to cover for a while. I'd had the general idea in my head for a long time but it only went about as far as me wanting it to have vocals -- and those vocals to be sung, not rapped or Ogre'd. So fast forward to yesterday, when I just started working on it. And it came out beautifully. Then I wrote lyrics and they came out beautifully too. Generally I really like this mix, if you couldn't tell already. A bunch of the lyrics are references to the mine (like the line about brothers fighting together), or to the moon it takes place on. Generally I think this is one of my favourites so far.
