April and October -- good choice!
I see the parallel.
October is when it starts snowing.  April is when the snow finishes melting!

sounds like Minnesota

Sounds about right for Idaho too. :P

Though I really kind of wish it didn't snow in October so often.  ::)

Not where I live it isn't.

Then you don't live in the right places to truly enjoy the weather.

Ha, ha, nicely put, I'm going to have to remember that the next time I cross paths with someone not used to a true and proper winter. :P

100s may not be too bad, if it wasn't for the humidity. 90s and humid, horrible. 100s and none; not too bad

@ Alieo: when you have to deal with the kind of cold I do, 45 is toasty warm in comparison. :D

Wazzazzle's is where it gets even colder, though, as I understand it.

it kind of depends on what we're used to.

Well now we've gotten a "cold front" and it's gone down to the 90s. It's still humid. I love the humidity. It feels warm and embracing to me.

You're like... my evil opposite or something.  I absolutely hate the humidity.  Summer or winter.  In summer it feels like I can't breathe, in winter the wet condensing everywhere makes you that much colder.

Granted, you probably wouldn't be such a big fan of humidity either at minus 50 degrees.

...but of course, I think it's actually kind of impossible to have much humidity at minus 50 degrees. :P

Back on topic please, people.

Anyways I've added more:
Some jet wallpapers that I found on Deviantart (1 F-14, 2 F-15s)-

Not on dev-art but still:
someone on tfw2005.com compiled these awesome Transformers: War For Cybertron poster sized images into a wallpaper-

(NZ, you should get War For Cybertron for either XBox360 or PS3.  It's the best Transformers game since Transformers Armada for PS2 (since you told me before)
EDIT: Bumblebee's face is being obscured by my non-steam game shortcut icon :P

and finally, this is battletech related but the description for this one is a long story-

(for better info, check out Miniature Rules starting with page 1 (the battletech webcomic)

I've been thinking about getting War for Cybertron for the 360. Played the demo for a little bit. I really like the playstyle. It is a lot like Call of Duty, plus you get some very cool specials. And then of coruse there is vehicle mode. TANKS!
