was it the drivers fault? I know it's not safe to look away. that's why I rarely do much with mp3 players in the car. I tend to play it, then start driving.
but, is it the drivers fault? it looks like the driver in front was veering off the road. I suppose it's both at fault. if the driver was paying attention, he/she would steer off to the right to avoid the collision.

That's what I thought too, but I once leaned over to put my lunch back on the passenger seat after it had fallen off and hit a parked car.

Seems to me that both drivers were at fault in some shape or form.

I think that, maybe, the other car was intended to represent a mirror image of the driver we see, showing us what happens if 2 people aren't paying attention.
