Yeah...even though I have never played it, it was obviously a VERY nicely done Descent mod. :)

That promo is proof of it. Excellently done. :D

Although, what that groundpounder guy needed at the start of the clip wasn't necessarily a Pyro (though that obviously did help with that issue, and any issues afterwards) but a Portal gun. :P

Assuming there were any portable surfaces around, of course...in which case, maybe the Pyro is the better bet, because then you don't have to worry about it (and you can blow stuff up, too!  ;D).

To be fair, I really hated Doom3 (just for personal reasons of being easily traumatised) so I never installed any mods for it.
But if you look at the weapons they designed for IntoCerberon ... those people were real designers and not just a couple of people 'writing a game'.
It took the whole thing to a new level of 'realism' and quality, I thought.

That's why their lethargy over the last couple of years is unavoidable yet irritating.

I think what the guy needed was a game engine that let him climb :P.

Team Fortress 2: I haven't played it much, nor that much want to.

Portal 2: I LOVE THIS ONE. Nuff said.
