There are many .d3m files here

Thanks Vex people :)
Their place is in the Descent3/netgames folder.

Hmmm No sound. Could really do with being able to hear whats going on in there. There is no, ingame sound at all when I run D3 via vortex.

If I start d3 single player (by double clicking the d3 icon) then I get sound while the initial screens load up ( u know the outrage bit and tantum logo etc...) but as soon as the D3 box loads, nothing doing.

SO CLOSE!!

My brother had this problem on win7, we fixed it by selecting "primary sound driver" as the sound device in the launcher setup.  Apparently on win7, D3 won't recognize specific sound drivers if there are more than one (my best theory at least).  I guess primary sound driver gets the game to use whatever is available at the time.

If you already have "primary sound driver" selected in setup, then I don't know.

no idea, when I got into multiplayer I found that I could make the thing full screen again by using the +- trick.
