Things are looking good for a new 6dof game in the near future... But are either of these a new Descent in your mind?

Sol Contingency... may not have the name, but I think these guys are building something truley in the spirit of Descent!

But it's a prequel to D1. Both look sharper for sure though.

In the storyline, yes. But the point is it was made after D3, quite a few years in fact, so the mechanics of the game follow the curve of deviation set by D2 and D3.
