Good Morning! - and the weather is ...
« on: November 11, 2014, 07:11:50 AM »
Good Morning!  The weather this morning is a balmy 13 F and with a brisk wind it officially "feels like" a mere 1 F.  We have fresh snow (and ice) blowing in a very vertical pattern.   How very nice.

And how is your weather today?

The ground covered in snow and an ounce of dreams.
Beware the wild ounce.

Nothing on the ground this morning, but I guess some places got whacked. A member on another forum posted pics of cars off the road, and said even the plows weren't getting through.

I passed a snowplow in the ditch on Tuesday. I laughed.

Well... I don't know about how it is for everyone else, but just in time for Thanksgiving it has warmed up here AND MELTED ALL OUR SNOW!  >:(

... but I'll survive.

It's properly snowy with minus 20 degree (no I won't translate :P) temperatures already.  That was fast.

We lost power Wednesday around 7 pm and it came back on today at 11:30 am. So our Thanksgiving dinner was... unusual. We had the turkey today as it was too big for the grill.

We didn't get a lot of snow or high winds, but the snow was so wet and heavy that it stuck to the trees, bringing way more of them down then it should have.
