Forgot the homing missiles and the laser upgrade.
I like to think I have a Descent taste of music.

I maintain copies of the D1 and D2 DOS versions on a Windows 95 machine with a 21" CRT monitor just to play Descent in 3D with the Simuleyes shutter glasses. You need the higher refresh rate that most but the most expensive flat panel monitors lack and the code to support 3D VR devices was not released, so it is not available in Rebirth.

I can live without the new and improved homing missiles. I noticed they are a hell of a lot harder to dodge in Rebirth, (90° turns around corners at high speed). I hadn't noticed a laser upgrade. Whats up with that?
