problems using filter on thunderbird email client
« on: December 04, 2012, 12:55:27 PM »
Im trying to block an email address, but using "delete message" or "delete from POP server" does nothing. Moving it to the "trash" folder does move it there, but I'd prefer this to be deleted or not even fetched from the server, however way you put it.

Thanks in advance

Best option would be if your email provider has an address-block system.  You probably can't do this through Thunderbird; you may have to go to their site directly to set that up.

If not, you'll have to set up Thunderbird to filter it after it's fetched.  Looks like there a few ways to do this.
