Welcome to PD!

There's a minimum post count of 5 posts required before you can upload an avatar, this is a security measure. But you can still have an avatar, if you have somewhere to host it.

I can also install Avatar packs if you don't have one. Pick a pack from the SMF site.

I find the reply, etc. buttons at the bottom on the default skin are somewhat small.
