Poll, Picture Of The Day... and News, too.

I think we need new Polls and Picture Of The Days more often. And we need more news. Any volunteers? Any ideas?

Eh, I have pics I could send in, but...  :-\

As for the lack of news, I highly suspect it's because there isn't any, or it just gets put in the Mess Hall, and everybody seems okay with it being there.

Well, at this point then, it'll either be a whole boat load of news or next to no news at all.

I will say that if we pull news from the whole gaming industry, I probably not pay much attention to it anymore. There really isn't much going on in the gaming industry that really interests me mostly.

It would not be just random news, of course, I was hoping someone who follows such things anyway would be willing to post up a few bits and pieces now and then, of stuff that might be of interest to us all. And perhaps not just the gaming interest, some interesting tech articles, computer development, etc... Or perhaps a once a month 'month in review' type of article, touching on gaming computers tech etc...

Or should we stay purely to Descent News?

Microsoft is doing some nasty stuff.

Windows 8 demo can erase your harddrive, $99 for removing software off their OS, something like that.

no real news on Descent.

I get my daily gaming and tech news fix from http://www.neoseeker.com/. Really great articles there on hardware and games. I visit it every day, always something new and cool to see. They usually find stuff before anyone else does, so I get to say "I knew X thing before you!" to all my friends. Lol

I remember when it was rumored that versions of Windows 7 Basic would only let you run "one" application at a time.
