I was going through some posts, reading stuff, etc, and sometimes as I am going to some link here, check out pictures or music, posts, whatever, it will then show the default theme. Looking up, I see in the log in area, my ID, with password and to log in. It just logged me out apparently. I can log back in just fine, but I can't understand why it does this when I am currently doing stuff on here.
Does this happen to a lot of people or just me?

Interesting. No happening to me. Of course, I'm using FireFox and I have this site remembering me... and I allowed FireFox to remember on this site.
What browser are you using?
-
There is an option to 'Always stay logged in:', without checking 'Always stay logged in:' you will log out automatically after a certain time period. This is done because (I am guessing) people who log in from a public machine, ie school or library, will not leave the machine logged in for someone else to come along and use their account.
Note: To see the 'Always stay logged in:' option, you must click on the login link, do not use the quick login form that is on every page.

I'm using Firefox, one with Mandriva on it, and one with Windows XP on it. At work, it's the Windows XP, and I use that more often. Sometimes, I can view something, click here, and I'll be logged out. and a lot of times, close the browser, open it up again, and be logged in.
Not a huge issue, just not making a ton of sense

It's probably a cookie issue, then. I take it the 'Always stay logged in:' option didn't help?

nothing bad has happened since this post, so maybe that will work. I'll see throughout the day and see if anything happens. If it does, thank you :)

I know the minute I say "It works, thanks!" it won't :)
but so far, it does. I tried what you said, about always being logged in.
I guess it works. Thank you.
