I'm leaving for my neighbours' cottage in an hour, it's a tradition we have... every year.

Happy New Year.

I'm stuck babysitting my sister for this new years eve. She's having a party with her friends, and my parents won't be around. It's a known fact my parents don't really trust my sister.

In just a few minutes, my family will be sitting down to New Years Eve Dinner, then after that the children (all four, 3 boys and one girl) will be joining me for an evening of movies and gaming, with snacks (chips, sodas, dips, etc.) until either going to bed or midnight, whichever comes first.  With six computers to choose from, it's usually a lot of computer gaming.  It's a yearly tradition that we started about 13 years ago with just me and Scyphi.  Mom always gets her fill of food and then goes to bed (not a gamer).

Yes, Descent (all versions) is tops in the list.

thanks. It's starting off rough but sometimes that rough stuff gets smoothed out and things start looking better.

Hopefully there won't be so many disasters this year.  No more oil spills... please...
