Recently, I was looking at the Users Online bar and I realized that the Trinity of Wolves of PD are online (Me, DarkFlameWolf, and KaizerWolf).
(I hope this thread won't be declared as spam :-[)

It's kinda interesting that we are the common Descent Wolves (me, you, and KaizerWolf).

Unfortunately the wolves are better fighters... at least DFW.
But I would like to try. Team Anarchy? Or Team Hoard? :o.
BTW we have 3 foxes if Darcshadow counts.

I am a pretty decent fighter in Anarchy. Not sure how I would stack up against the all time greats though...

Yeah, Its a steam clan, but I carry it over to descent since the clan I was once in seems to have died out.
And the clan on steam also has to do with flight games, and its kinda universal since it isnt just a *one* game clan.
But sure, I wouldn't mind being a Descent Fox. :P

Florida eh? I was there once. It was far too hot. My grandparents used to spend the winter there, and my grandfather recently told me a funny story (though some americans may not get it).

It is sort of lame... it was probably just funny because of the conversation we were having...
My grandparents used to winter in Florida (I was actually there, once, a long time ago). Apparently one time, my grandfather had gone out in bare feet (T-Shirt and shorts, you know), when it was about 15-25 degrees (Celsius). That's like a warm spring/early summer day here in the Canadian prairies.
So the story goes, his neighbour told him to "go inside and dress properly", because it was "cold outside".
My favourite temperature is anywhere between -10 degrees and 0 degrees (again celsius)... unfortunately at those temperatures there's usually black ice outside (nasty stuff).
BTW Techpro, what's the Cheese for?

Heh, I see that a lot around here where I live. See, there's a university up here, and so a lot of people from all over the country come to attend, and a lot of people are in for quite a shock with Idaho's much...milder...climate in comparison to places such as Florida and Californa. Always get a kick out of it to see 'em shiverin' at temperatures that are simply glorious for us natives. :P
@ Alter-Fox: The deal with the sudden cheesiness of Techpro's name is, judging from what he's told me, part of a social experiment to see if anyone notices the change. So far as I know, excluding me, you are the only one to verbally note it as of yet. :)

Okay, if we make a Wolf vs. Fox server for Descent 3, we'll make it 3vs3 (or more if we have more foxes and wolves) Team Anarchy or better yet, CTF. But the question is... which level?
Here's my speculated roster for each team-
Wolf Team:
DarkFlameWolf (If she feels like doing it)
SapphireWolf
KaizerWolf
Fox Team:
AlterFox
DarcShadowFox
FennecFox
Let's see... should Wolf be red or blue (and the Fox Team being the opposite color, of course)?

And I suggest Team Hoard for the gamemode. Never done that with more than two players.

Hmmmmmmm. That's a tough one. I'm not inclined towards either one w/o influances.
I like Wolf's Dragoons from MechWarrior. And then there's Fox from Star Fox. There's Kaizerwolf and then DarcshadowFox.
IDK man. Whoever beggs or bribes the most. :P
I'll probably just spectate.
But if Wolfman shows up, then I'm just coming in as is and I'll smoke him.

If I were messing with his account name, I would just change it back to plain ol' Techpro, as I personally liked that best. :)
Although...I do remember years back when he was first getting involved on these Descent forums, his first pick of a name was "Techman"...except it was already taken at the time...hmm...:P

Hmm... I may have to try making a robot anarchy mine for D3 (robots will only attack the wolf team, obviously).
I like to make multiplayer levels with scripting that changes the players' "environment" (e.g. increase a player's shields to 300 when they get a certain powerup, but cloak all other players when that player dies. I actually did that once).
@TechPro/GoneBannanas/NuttyIceCream/Cheese (you can probably tell I'm hungry): I believe DFW uploaded her ChocoboWorld level (and a few other chocobo levels) here too.
[goes and checks]: Chocobo World, Chocobo CTF and Chocobo Racing are all here.
I remember playing 3 player LAN chocobo hoard once... most memorable hoard ever.
Klixovann won the game with one goal, while Xaihyv and I were trying to do it in little bits.
Custom music in a multiplayer level gets annoying though, because it restarts whenever you respawn.

Chocobo World is indeed very fun, its a shame I didn't include a few more weapons in the level, because it seems like there isn't enough there to support a proper 8 player game.

The [RIP] guys play ChocoboWorld at least once every few weeks. It's PERFECT for 6-8 players (more gets too crowded).
The weapon balance (few secondaries, lots of good primaries) is really what makes it stand out as a great anarchy level.
