Keen Software House Ltd, creators of Miner Wars, has announced a contest to create a logo for the game engine they created to power Miner Wars:
We would like to announce that as of this day were starting a new competition to create a logo of our engine VRage. This engine is what powers Miner Wars. VRage engine supports a dynamic full destructible environment. VRage will be made available to all Indie development teams in the future for modest price levels. We would like it to become a tool of young studios that want to create new original titles.

But they asked me to make the V more integrated with the word Rage because it's VRage, not V Rage. So now I'm going in a different direction.

A little late for this, but me and Techpro collaborated to create a logo ourselves.

Looking at some of the competition, I dunno if we'll submit these into the contest, as it doesn't quite compare. I guess we'll see what you guys think of it (or Techpro simple talks me into it, whichever comes first) :P
I drew the art, then colored and enhanced it in Photoshop, but it was Techpro's idea. :)

WTF! Zeppo's boring! It is a triangle thing with red lights that looked like the bottom of some joystick! Yours was coming out of the screen without VR or 3D glasses!
I had to make sure that he didn't post anything else becides that! I scrolled through the entire 1,000,000 post page to find it, but there was nothing else!

@Matt: Yeah, it was pretty busted...it's because I had put the address for said link in quotes. I keep forgetting PD.Net doesn't like that. Weird thing is, though, it's the only forum I know of that does that, others seem to demand it, or just ignore the quotes. :-\ Ah well, it's fixed now. ;)
@WillyP: I was surprised you didn't make the top five myself, but at least you get an honorable mention, so it wasn't like you were forgotten.
It did take them far longer to decide the winners than they had first initially said it would, on the account that they were arguing over who should win, so maybe that had something to do with it.
@NUMBERZero: I actually like Zeppo's and wasn't surprised he won. Maybe it is a little boring in the sense that it's simple and not really flashy, but it's very sleek and smooth looking, and it matched the wanted criteria, so...
