Title: png images look bad in latest FF?
Post by: -<WillyP>- on January 08, 2010, 12:08:07 PM
Since the recent upgrade from Mozilla, some png images look like crap in FireFox... for example the pic I just uploaded to the potd... has lines across the bottom part of the image and the area just below the sun looks kinda broken up. Looks kinda like a bad scan in a newspaper or something, but in color. I open the page in IE or another browser and it looks fine. In FF, I can drag the image to my desktop and view it in XnView, it looks fine, just like it did before I uploaded it. And some png's are fine in FireFox, some are not.

Has anyone else using FF had this experience?

Interesting.  I'm using FireFox and it's fully updated with the new update ... and that pic looks fine.  :-\

It looks like this for me. But not cropped, just the quality, I mean.

I don't have any issues with PNG files and I'm using the latest Firefox.
