This gave me an idea. What if someone were to make a boss robot using Dravis's head? You know, like in Star Fox 64 were you had to fight Andross and his hands. Hmmmmm?

Post by: SaladBadger on December 10, 2009, 11:44:48 AM: I tweaked the exit sequence myself. That's also why the terrain is flat. I had created a new heightmap (just flat, messing around with a hex editor since I didn't have a image editor compatible with the format at the time), and then for kicks, in the TXB file for the level, I set the background planet to ENDGUY.BBM (used in the ending breifing).

(credits to Boogie for figuring out the format I needed to use)

I know in D3 sometimes textures don't load properly and get switched. But that the first time I have seen it in D1.

I know that if I didn't see it coming, I know that'd give me a good start. 8)

EDIT: actually it doesn't look too bad at around that size. I just tried doing it quickly (I'm sure every good student has Descent editing utlities on their computer :P). Just darken it and make it look like it's in the background

This was not the first instance. Google the quoted string "and I'm new to the forum. I just wanted to say hey.. I hope I posted this in the right section.. if not, mods please feel free to move it." and see how many hits come back. It's hit hundreds of forums.
