Title: What is your favorite game you have NEVER played before?
Post by: Alieo on December 10, 2011, 12:24:15 PM: An odd question, but how can one make this assessment when you haven't played the game? Well, I can! Maybe the proper way to put it is, "What is the one game you've heard so much about and you're stoked to play it because you've seen the movie and love the original game soundtrack?"

For me, that game is the Silent Hill series. I've seen and love the movie, I've watched gameplay recordings on YouTube, and I'm starting to assemble a soundtrack -- such beautiful beautiful music. So, it's my absolute favorite game that I have never played.

Post by: Sapphirus on December 10, 2011, 01:24:54 PM: -Final Fantasy series (except for the lame-o 8,10, 10-2). I remember seeing my cousins play FF6 and seeing my brother played FF7 as a kid. And yes, Spoony did a review of FF8, FF10 and FF10-2
As for the game? I really like the soundtrack (mostly from 6 and 7). And I'll think of other thoughts later...

Soo frustrating that Sega almost never releases them for PC.

Doom and Descent also; on some console that I don't have.

Despite it's bad rep, and the fact that it has a lot of gameplay flaws that would probably annoy me to no end, I really want to at least have a chance to play it, even briefly. Besides, I know so much about the ins and outs of the game, I might as well play it.

Too true, this! So I was of course ecstatic that they decided to release Sonic Generations on PC, and was ALL over that. :D

Hehehe... now that my exams are over I'm getting an Xbox 360 as an early christmas present to everyone in the house... I happened to find a used copy of the game at EB Games, so as long as it's still there tomorrow...
