Descent:
Turn your world
ǝpısuı ʇno
Something popped into my head, some sort of signature, and cool text. hmm.. hard to say.
-
I like it! :D
-
thank you :) I'm trying to figure out how the text should go. Maybe I'll add a post to see if others even want to vote on it. oh, I don't think I can just add a poll, not here. oh well.
what is better,
A. Descent:
Turn your world
ʇno ǝpısuı
B. Descent:
Turn your world
ǝpısuı ʇno
C. Descent:
Turn your world
onʇ ıusıpǝ
D. Descent:
Turn your world
ıusıpǝ onʇ
edit:
A would look best on a CD, which I think is where we see it. C really looks bad. B is okay, D is nice. I'm thinking A or D
-
A.
-
Yeah, A flows. like on a CD. I think A is the best.
-
Definitely A is the best.
-
thanks again foil, and pumo. So far, 3 for A, and 0 for the others ;D
-
^^Make it 4!
-
I like C, because it plays with your mind.
It looks inside out.

It looks inside out.
I agree, if that's your approach, to have it play with your mind. Because that's what it would do.
4 votes on A
1 vote on C

Put me down for another vote for A.
-
A is the most clear, but D seems fitting for the inside out theme, too.

Like if it was on a globe, "Turn your world" on the front, "inside out" on the back. and then after reading "turn your world", flip over to the other side and see "inside out."
Maybe not every letter, A B C or D would work, but it depends on what you do with it, what would work I suppose. A would be great on a CD, D would be if on a globe, some sort of sphere, and you flipped it vertically.
I still like A the best, but I see why some are voting for others.
Do we do anything with this? I am, just with my signature. and I used that reverse-text that I saw on here on April Fools Day. So obviously, I don't own this, and I can't take much credit at all.
with WillyP's vote, it's up 5 for A, and I am not sure about Scyphi, what he likes best.

What about:
Descent:
Turn your world
umop-apisdn
That backwards text font does not seem to work for me, Just saying. :)
-
I think this is why:
From a website:
"Prepare yourself for an explosive new 3D action experience that will "turn your world INSIDE... OUT!" "
I think that's Descent 3 that has that saying, I don't know if the other two did.
edit: that's why the e in inside looks funny. it's an a. you typed out the letters, each one is an actual letter, not upside down.
cleaver.

Oh, I'm an idiot. It was "Inside Out" not "Upside Down"
Yeah. I guess I don't have that font. :-X
-
it was found here: http://reverse-text.com/ (http://reverse-text.com/)
It was an April Fools thing on here, in the Mess Hall. That's partially on how I got this idea.
-
Can somebody graphically talented perhaps turn that into a cool-looking image? :)

Can somebody graphically talented perhaps turn that into a cool-looking image? :)
Please elaborate (perhaps I'm just tired enough to not be sure what you're wanting).
-
I'm guessing he wants a logo with the reverse text as a tagline.
-
like an avatar, maybe.
-
I was thinking more like a banner, but an avatar would be cool too.
-
I'm no good at making anything. I made my own avatar, but that was a basic two color picture, using a Descent font.
-
Why isn't it:
Descent: Turn your world
¡uʍop ǝpısdn
???
I mean... because the text is upside down, and you DO go upside down in the game, but yeah of course the climax of each level is the "inside out" when escaping the mine. Anywhoo, that's just my 2¢.
-
google it. "descent turn your world". it's a Descent 3 saying, that's why it says "Turn your world inside out"
Descent 3 - The original three-dimensional shooter is back, featuring Fusion dual-engine ... this game will turn your world inside out.
-
How do you write that upside-down as actual characters?
I looked at the page source and it was just the same - no clues.
-
umop apisdn? or something slightly different?
they are just letters that look like it could be something else upside down, no pun intended. the letter u then the letter w is already giving you w and n
although his looks like it was just using that website.

@Vanguard Wow! I remember that! It didn't click until I saw the whole quote. Okay, that makes sense!
