Hey all, it's good 'old' me again, how's it going? I haven't been around much all the time, more out than in. I thought I'd try out some D3 music, but noticed almost all songs aren't available. I see a nice D1 and D2 list of music, and playing that as I type. Good old music :),
but not much on D3?
-
I think it's taking a while to rebuild that part of the site. In the meantime, you can find most of the songs that were on PD.com here (except for the level 6 and level 7 music, unfortunately): http://archives.descent.cx/d3/d3music.html (http://archives.descent.cx/d3/d3music.html)
-
No problem, i'm preparing my D3 MP3's to upload them to the music section. Will do that today ;)
-
Look at that thief floating around on that site! That is bad ass!
My better version of the official Level 7 is on this site.
Fox, didn't you say that you were going to do Level 5?
Pumo, is that going to be absolutely all of them?
-
thanks guys. originals are fine too. ill check on that site.
I have some D3 music, but not quite all.
-
@NUMBERZero: It would be just the official ones that Autopilot got mastered. That means all of Mercenary and various Retribution ones except for the levels 5,6,7,8, etc. themes. But that's not a problem, you already put Level 7, and I see level 14, 13 & 8 posted there also :)
BTW, I think I also have full versions of Level 6 and Credits theme around here that was hosted on old Planetdescent, although i'm not sure who made them.
-
I was going to do level 5, but I didn't have the time and just forgot about it after a few days. I'll try to do it now... hopefully I'll actually do it.
-
*checks playlist* I have full versions of all songs (both official and unofficial) for every level of D3 save 4, 6, 9, 10, and 12. So that just leaves...10 songs. I also have ALL of the Mercenary songs.
So I could pitch in a few if so needed.
-
OK, I uploaded all songs I have from D3 in the D3 music downloads section. :)
Check them out Vanguard ;)
-
thanks. I'll have to wait on the goodies. I started to download music (wanted to build up the D1 and D2 music), and the internet went down. Heard this morning it's back up, but I am at work now. will check it later.
thanks :)
-
Want to say thanks guy for the uploading, links, etc.
-
Woot! Thanks Pumo!
-
Pumo is credit to team! :)
-
No problem. I'm glad to help. :D :)
-
thanks Pumo!
Almost done. been very busy, getting a few songs here and there from all Descent series.
Anyone have D3: Map 5? Otherwise, I think all songs are there.
-
No Descent 3 level 5 music? I know I had it. I think I uploaded it a while back, back when planetdescent.com was around.
Maybe I'll look for it somewhere, maybe I'll get lucky.
-
I've uploaded the level 5 music (I made it from the ingame OSFs). I think this is different from AutoPilot's version though (the excerpt on PD.com had some very different instruments.)
Nevertheless this is what you'd hear in-game.
-
Would you guys like me to upload the 28 minute file of the "D3 Community Taunts?"
-
I can't remember ... Is it "Family Friendly"?
-
NO!!! LMAO
-
Was D3 ever family friend in multiplayer?
-
I think I know what he is talking about. I think it was uploaded in PD.com, and there is some language. assuming these are the taunts I'm thinking.
-
Yes there is bad language in that, I specifically remember PD.com having a disclaimer attached to the file about that.
A lot of those audio taunts are pretty vulgar. :|
But I suppose somebody wanted it seeing that it got made in the first place. :P
-
I have some Descent 3 and other Descent music on my site. I still have yet to build a page for publicly available music though. If you want it, send me an email.
-
Yeah it's like a BUNCH of taunts. 28:10, and the background music is D3 Levels 1, 2 and 3.

Lol. Now you've got me thinking of Kung Pow (specifically the music Betty plays while he beats you up).
-
I think a few of your captions are just a little off there, Alieo :P
-
LOL I was typing as fast as I could while listening!
-
One sort of reminds me of this game I played online. Its the zombie map "five" in black ops (newest call of duty game)
some were mad because I didn't want to run in circles in the war room floor. I told them I wasn't good at that. They all bled out and I was alone, going up and down the elevator. I think they were still upset about it all and right as I said it, not kidding, I died. What I said was "at least im alive."
Yep, just as I finished saying it, I went down as well. ::)
-
I've got that audio taunt thing on YouTube.
That Zombie map is the best. I play it on my Xbox and the online is hilariously fun if you play with a friend that you know personally who lives on the opposite coast of the US that makes hilarious noises! SQUEEEEEEEE-*eats mic*
"Ugh. Been in the Navy for years. Never tasted anything that fishy."
Someone on YouTube made a hilarious spoof of the intro by switching around and mixing some of the words.
*bang
Nixon: Sounds like someone breaking innnn!
Kennedy: It's just a *dick *storm. Si'down..........Si'down!...Si'down!!!
*Nixon sits down
*Zombies breaking in
Nixon: Someone's breaking innnn!
Kennedy: Just zombies, Dick. Si'down.
*Kennedy keeps talking as if everything is fine while the Zombie sound effects keep playing.
Then he proceeded to make an EPIC YTPMV at the end. It was the Sting Chameleon theme from Megaman X1.
Ahh! I found it! WATCH IT!!
NSFW. Not as bad as the hundreds of taunts, but it has a few small moments. ;)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nc-gjxShqd4
-
Whew! Better not be on acid while watching that! Yikes!
-
Well, that video was rather nice... EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT IT COMPLETELY SUCKED!!!
-
the reason one of your taunts reminded me of the story I told you in the post wasn't because of that. It was this:
I am invincible! You... [BAM] OWWW!!!
I can't say I felt invincible, but I was the only one alive and made the statement that "at least I'm alive" (zombie slashes me to the ground) "Not anymore I guess."
that video....yeah....um, not too good. and certainly not quite like the actual video.
-
Awwww, looks like nobody is a fan of that stuff :(
-
I find it interesting though that that video has like 90+ likes and !!!ZERO!!! dislikes!!!
-
i have a theory. those who liked it, got all pumped up and voted for it, saying how great it was. and for the rest, who hated it, couldn't even look at the screen, or have the speakers up. they were so scared, to dramatized, they closed it out without even thinking about writing any bad comments. :)
-
Right. I don't bother voting down stuff, what's the point?
-
You'd likely also be asking to be picked on by doing that, too. ::)
-
Yeah, that's my philosophy on places like Youtube and Newgrounds. Why bother voting if I don't like it?
Sure I vote less, but my view is just because I don't like something doesn't mean no one else does. Leaving it at the higher rating would mean the people who would like it would at least be more likely to find it.
-
I use to do this at amazon, but haven't in probably a year, and even then, it was rare for me to write a comment.
God bless America that we have freedom of speech, but you write a bad review, and others jump on you.
"What do you mean, you didn't like it? What the @$# is wrong with you? DUDE! You must not have seen it, or you were stoned."
" :o I can't believe you call a great film like that junk?"
"You didn't laugh? This movie is 10+, I was ROFL, and my sides were spitting. you must be dumb!"
People get upset when you write something bad about something they love. I can handle it, and at times, see why they don't like it.
-
It can work in reverse, too, when you decide to state that you like something when most people don't. It really depends on what the majority thinks. If you go against the majority, then you're asking for trouble.
-
guilty :-[
used to do that with Windows Vista. Personally, I still don't see how anyone can like it. I suppose the right hardware match, yeah, but, I just didn't have ANY luck with that system. XP Pro is still my favorite Windows system. Never tried 7. May try later though.
-
Well, that video was rather nice... EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT IT COMPLETELY SUCKED!!!
That was wierd. That's not like you.
Are you okay WillyP?
-
it seems like a different WillyP, if that's him now.
Maybe he really didn't like that video. I love that zombie map, and they made some dumb video on it.
-
His post was completely different before. If that was really him and someone else didn't get into his account, I would guess he changed it to draw attention to some wierd and deep fact of life.
Or he's just trying to see if people will notice (like when TechPro started changing his name to wierder and wierder things).
It gives me an eerie sense of deja vu though (one word: Sykes).
-
Techpro changed his name? ??? ... ;D
-
Sykes....why does that sound really familiar?
-
almost sounds like Scobby Doo. been a while since I've seen those cartoons, so I could be waaayyy off. it may have been soykes. (probably misspelled)
-
Nope, someone on the D2X-XL forum. I'd rather not go into detail.
