Please note that mech is the common term for a pilotable giant robot ala Gundam, Macross/Robotech/SouthernCross/Mospeada, Battletech/Mechwarrior, Armored Core, etc. that are actually walking tanks, not sentient or self-minded machines like Transformers, Descent Robots, and any non-pilotable robots.

This line is a lawsuit waiting to happen: "It is gasoline fueled, and runs on a diesel engine." I put gas in my Kuratas as advised, and the engine was destroyed!
That truck driver must've been like "wtf?" when the thing drove past him. (Then again, this is japan...)
Nobody thought it might be a bad idea to allow remote control of a giant robot via 3G? And "Smile shoot", really?
But seriously, that looks awesome and I want one.
EDIT: It's work mentioning that it's apparently just a joke. A very elaborate one.

Kuratas looked kinda sucky, actually. What the heck kinda mech goes on rubber tires and shoots soda bottles with water, and from time to time hits the target? and BB's? And what kind of visibility does that cockpit give you? Japanese have a weird sense of humor.
