I was watching (on YouTube) some Discovery Channel piece about the SR-71 jet (http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=discovery+channel+-+SR-71+Blackbird&oq=discovery+channel+-+SR-71+Blackbird&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&gs_l=youtube-reduced.3...415533l431562l0l432499l24l24l0l0l0l0l211l3224l1j21j2l24l0.) (it's totally awesome IMO) and I came across this clip (http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=SR-71+Blackbird+twin&oq=SR-71+Blackbird+twin&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&gs_l=youtube-reduced.3...523124l537075l0l539137l20l20l0l10l10l0l175l1469l0j10l10l0.) (first video) demonstrating an RC version of the SR-71.  Being a guy, I immediately started thinking about the fun I would have with something like that.  It wasn't long before I saw this monster (http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=SR-71+Flying+jet+model&oq=SR-71+Flying+jet+model&aq=f&aqi=g1&aql=&gs_l=youtube-reduced.3..0.8700l20194l0l21046l22l22l0l13l13l0l213l843l5j3j1l9l0.) (first video) which looked like a real kick.  Of course, one of the first things I'd be doing would be to outfit it with a video camera and long range radio controls ... but who's dreaming?

I think I know what I want to do with my spare time during this spring and summer. The real question is ... will I?
