BOR-4S, a real orbital interceptor prototype. Designed in the USSR in the 1970s. It was meant to shoot down satellites. Each sortie would last 2 hours, with shuttle-style atmospheric re-entry. It would carry 6-10 missiles in the weapons bay.

The final Su-35 standard has done without canards, thanks to FCS and engine thrust vectoring improvements. Here it is taking off from the company's Siberian factory runway. Beautiful, isn't she?

This is something that came up several years after PM was released. Turns out in the USSR there was an orbital interceptor project, "BOR". It was to be armed with radar-guided missiles for downing satellites and spacecraft in Earth's orbit. This is the BOR-4S aerodynamic mockup. Looks like Blackstar.

Theme of Level 14: Dragnet The name is a (very) indirect reference to what made this level so infamous; the exit run. The style of the music itself is sort of like Descent 3 Mercenary, but more experimental.  I suppose it's also something like the level 4 music from Entropy Experiment 2.
