This is an improvisation on Zynaddsub-FX. Later it came out Vangelis has a soundtrack piece called "Missing" which is similar. Oh well, great minds... And all that ;D
His is a full piece with strings though, not a meditational motif.

The "not-a-Moog" synth improvisation. Almost all the VST effects here are free, the synthesiser is ASynth. The overall setup is similar to what Tony Iommi and Justin K. Broadrick use on their guitars (source->chorus->reverb->delay), with a lowpass filter replacing a guitar cabinet/speaker (guitar speakers usually go only up to 5-6 KHz).
