The second installment of my Invasion music project. The title "Victum Maria" is latin for "Conquer the Sea." The darker, smoother portions of the moon were thought to be bodies of water by earlier scientists; thus, they were named "Maria." It has a funky rock-and-roll rhythm to it; the bass kick drum carries the beat. Enjoy.

I did not feel it necessary to make a new album solely for one wallpaper, so I'll stuff it here until I have a good reason to make a new album (possibly for other resolutions). INSERT: Seems that it will only post the file as 1024x640. Is there a limit on image file size?

Theme of Level 25: The Core Is The Nexus The name is a reference to a phoenix obviously. I'm discovering the power of the FL Blood Overdrive FX to make anything sound like an electric guitar. Try this song in level 23 of D1 or level 17 of Vertigo.

Level 5 -- probably the most impressive fire level ever built in any Descent. Also probably the level that Warp Shockwave is famous for. This song was meant to be a mix of the styles of D1's game06 and D3's "Shotgun" (both songs were only in levels that were on Mercury ), with some influence from Luke Schneider's work on the Entropy Experiment. Warp Shockwave follows the same storyline as the Entropy missions. If I remember right I was kind of thinking of the volcano level when I made this and I thought some music in the style of the Entropy missions would be fitting.
