D1 pig file viewer. May become a editor, but I doubt it

Is it just me or the main Descent files are named after (part of) swines like .PIG, .HOG, and .HAM
At least they didn't include *.bacon files. XD

Anyway, very cool tool you've built here. Impressive. But, since I am indeed lacking in knowledge about mods (heck, I just enjoy the stuff everybody else built), exactly what kind of information can be found in the *.PIG files? Aren't those texture files?

Yeah, according to data pulled out of a old mirror of PXSOFTWARE.COM a pig farmer was John Slagel's backup carrer if Parallax failed

They hold data for almost everything in the game. Texture information, Robot declarations, weapon declarations, even the player ship, mostly stuff covered in D2's HAM file. Just take a look at all of the information in the left column if you want to get an idea
