I have made my first own submission to InterfaceLIFT yesterday. Right now it is in the voting area. If it gets enough votes, InterfaceLift will include it in its roster of images it offers for download.

It's the picture of the red currant in the garden. If you like it, you can vote for it (you need a free acccount there to be able to vote though, and please only vote for it if you really think it is good enough - although I appreciate being sympathetic with me, I prefer serious feedback. :)).

Edit: I have attached a screenshot of my desktop using that wallpaper.

My first background with Ubuntu, still maintaining my custom SMB3 maps backgrounds which can be edited with Kolour Paint for Ubuntu.
I like to think I have a Descent taste of music.

And I can only imagine how much additional bandwidth and processing power that takes them to determine. Talk about inefficient.

Set phasers to harsh, man, lol.

Stupid Imageshack, CPU is always more costly than bandwidth. You can normally milk unlimited bandwidth from your host but often only like 25mins/month of aggregate CPU time on a shared server.

5$ says they host their own servers, meaning that bandwidth is all they pay for besides electricity.

I absolutely don't dispute that.
What puzzles me is that a loaded CPU consumes more power and discharges more heat than an idle one whereas a busy connection can't say the same.
I think it must all have to do with getting people back to their site so they can hit you with adverts on their own turf, which presumably balances out the extra CPU usage financially.

Interestingly, the Pirate Bay just ordered 10 2xQuad Xeon servers and I pointed out how sad it was that the hardware was being wasted in that way and, my God, what a flamewar kicked off there, over at TorrentFreak.
It was a bit like me V all the pirates in the world (one of whom was one of the guys prosecuted in the 2009 Pirate Bay Trial).
