I couldn't get MTX to work.  It takes approx. 2 minutes to start up on my Win7 machine (older versions of MTX didn't take as long on this POS laptop that I used to use all the time, and I even used it to get Assault Tech), even with visual themes and desktop comp. off and stuff, and then it says it can't connect to download.
I found that I had to open a port and so I did, but that didn't work.  I checked the port and it was open all right, but MTX won't cooperate.

They said that since there were a crazy amount of people who also had this problem, they are making a direct download.
