Just for anyone who might be wondering why that is significant:

On July 4th, 1776, the United States of America officially declared independence from the British Empire.

And that is why we celebrate the 4th, here in the States. Although, those of you in other countries are welcome to join the festivities.

Friend's back yard caught fire because of neighbor's fireworks.  He lost his phone in the fire.  Learned from two really angry posts on facebook. :)
